Built to meet the demands of a specialised custom application, the Guyson Multiblast RSB HL is a uniquely engineered rotary blast system.
Within the blast station the component is processed using two independent horizontal lances. One lance is dedicated to blasting the internal end of the component, while the second focuses on the external surfaces. During operation, the component is rotated within the blast chamber, ensuring optimal efficiency and complete coverage.
The system’s fully automated operation is complemented by an integrated HMI/PLC interface. This enables operators to set and store recipes for the blasting process, ensuring compliance with strict specifications and delivering consistent, repeatable results. It also provides real-time monitoring of blast operations.
Completing the system is an advanced media delivery and reclamation system. Through which spent media is extracted from the blast chamber via an auger screw, which then feeds into a bucket elevator to be cycled through a 2-deck sieve separator. The sieve separator filters the media. Damaged media which no longer meets the correct size and dimensional requirements is sent to a waste bin, whilst media which is still fit for purpose is filtered back into the media reservoir to be reused. This recycling nature of the system makes it a both sustainable and economically wise solution.
